Lake Louise Wedding - Banff National Park

Going to the dogs...... Anita and Barry had a lovely August wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the first thing that drew me to them was their dogs. All three of them! Now being a dog lover myself and living with 60 pounds of wild standard poodle, I knew that these canine kids were a big part of their lives. One of the really great aspects and challenges of being a wedding photographer is creating images that reflect who the couple are..... their love, their work, their hobbies, how they met, how they play. The photographs must be a collaboration between me and my clients so that they are all different and all unique. Anita's two border collies compete in agility dog trials. Barry has a strong interest in photography. So lots of shots of the dogs and for Barry, I used my Hasselblad film cameras for some of the formal shots.

I know that i would want my dog in the photographs....but three best dogs? Lots of fun as usual. If only I could get the dogs to stop thinking of going for a swim!
